Joshua Sanchez, LMSW

Psychotherapist

Joshua is a licensed mental health clinician specializing in the treatment of anxiety, depression, OCD, and related disorders. He achieved his Master of Social Work degree in Advanced Clinical Social Work Practice focusing on Health, Mental Health, and Disabilities from Columbia University in the City of New York. He also holds a B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College. Joshua has received extensive training and experience delivering empirically-supported, cognitive-behavioral treatment, including exposure and response prevention, habit reversal therapy, trauma-informed treatment such as STAIR-NST, and acceptance and commitment therapy; to help individuals with OCD spectrum disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and eating disorders.

Joshua’s research interests include the treatment of cognitive, behavioral, and biological processes in anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, and mood disorders. Joshua’s book reviews appear in Health & Social Work, The New Social Worker, and Psychoanalytic Social Work.
