Sarah Friedman, LCSW, MS

Senior Psychotherapist

Sarah is passionate about providing excellent mental health care with sustainable results to adults and couples. Sarah creates a safe and supportive environment that serves as a base for clients to grow, explore and thrive. With couples she focuses on strengthening secure attachment, deepening connection, and decreasing conflict. Her areas of specialization are depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues.

Sarah is experienced using several evidence-based practices and tailors treatment based on client needs. She uses a strengths-based and humanistic approach and implements techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method. Sarah is dedicated to professional development and has completed Level 1 Training in EMDR and EFT for Individuals and Couples. Sarah holds a Master in Social Work from Columbia University, a Master of Science in Applied Statistics from New York University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
