Annalis Garrido, MSMFT
PSYCHOTHERAPIST
Annalis deeply values the power of human connection and views the quality of our relationships—with ourselves, others, and the world—as central to our well-being. Passionate about supporting couples and families through life transitions, relational challenges, and intergenerational trauma, she helps clients access their inner wisdom to help guide them toward healing, growth, and greater fulfillment. Known for her authenticity, warmth, and understanding, Annalis strives to create a secure, nurturing space where clients can explore their vulnerabilities, identify and shift limiting patterns, and work toward meaningful change.
Recognizing no two people or relationships are the same, therapy with Annalis is a collaborative process that honors each person’s intersecting identities, core values, and inherent strengths. She remains flexible in her approach, offering tools and strategies tailored to fit her clients’ needs, and welcomes ongoing feedback to ensure they feel supported in their progress toward their hoped-for future.
Annalis holds a Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Miami, where she studied Motion Pictures and Psychology. In addition to her work in private practice, Annalis works with children, adolescents, and their parents/caregivers in New York City’s public school system. A former media executive, Miami native, and New Yorker at heart, she enjoys dancing, Cuban coffee, and spending time with her loved ones, especially her partner and their fetch-obsessed vizsla, Luna.
